Alimentaria FoodTech will take place in 2023 to bolster its value proposition and internationality

Alimentaria FoodTech prepares its next edition in September 2023 aiming to celebrate an event with a wider offer, internationality, and participation, to continue being the reference point for the food and beverage’s technology, equipment, and ingredients sector. The trade fair’s organizing committee, composed by companies and the main industry associations, has endorsed the change of dates that will allow a better positioning in the international trade fair calendar.

With its new dates, from September 26th to 29th, 2023 at the Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona, the trade fair aims to guarantee and bolster its value proposition, increase international participation in a mobility restriction-less environment, maintain its commercial attraction, and reach the highest representation possible. The industry’s main associations and institutions have supported this decision, including amec, the internationalized Spanish industrial companies’ association, which is also a strategic partner of the trade fair to reinforce its international positioning.

Ricardo Márquez, director of Alimentaria FoodTech, points out that “we make this decision in line with our willingness to work together with the sector as the trade fair supports its growth and economic recovery, and aiming to strengthen our position as the best meeting point to reactivate this essential industry in the agri-food value chain. As we move into a new year saturated with international events, 2023 represents the best scenario for the sector”.

Active agenda
Alimentaria FoodTech will continue in constant contact with the industry. The trade fair is preparing a series of touchpoint and networking events with different sectors through digital and in-person formats aiming to endure its contribution as a business platform. Some of these activities will take place during the Alimentaria & Hostelco trade fair in April of 2022.

The event will maintain its industry-wide outreach to present solutions for the entire food and beverages’ value chain through is offer of processing, ingredients, packaging, industry 4.0, food safety, refrigeration, logistics and auxiliary products and services.

This year’s edition was planned for October coinciding with Hispack, which will move to May of 2022.
