Aurore Vanappelghem, the new Project Director for Synerlink

A trusted supplier of fillers for dairy products, Synerlink, a Barry-Wehmiller Packaging Systems company, announced the appointment of Aurore Vanappelghem as Project Director. In her new role, Vanappelghem leads Synerlink’s project management team and is responsible for evolving the company’s abilities to manage food-filling and -packaging equipment projects in a timely, cost-effective manner.

Vanappelghem brings 25-plus years of project team leadership experience to Synerlink. Prior to joining Synerlink, she spent 22 years in various roles at Autoliv, a Swedish-American automotive safety supplier. With experience in several functions—including research and development, purchasing, cost optimization and performance quality—Vanappelghem brings a vast and valuable perspective to Synerlink’s project management team.

“I am excited that Aurore has joined our leadership team,” said Synerlink President François Truffier. “Over the last three years, Synerlink has invested significant resources to ensure our customers’ projects are delivered on time and with a commitment to performance and quality. With her experience, Aurore will be instrumental to Synerlink as we continue to improve on this commitment.”

As Project Director, Vanappelghem not only leads Synerlink’s growing team of project managers, but she also works to develop and maintain project management tools, safeguard the company’s project portfolio and network with customers. Since accepting her new role in September 2021, Vanappelghem says she has enjoyed Barry-Wehmiller’s people-centric company culture.

“I am very happy to have joined a company with such a focus on people and performance,” Vanappelghem said. “I’ve enjoyed working with so many fascinating products and look forward to supporting Synerlink and its customers moving forward.”

Synerlink creates world-class machines and services for cup-filling, bottle-filling and form-fill-seal rigid packaging solutions by bringing together some of the industry’s most trusted brands, including Arcil, Dairy Pack, Dinieper and Ermi. Synerlink is one of several Barry-Wehmiller companies represented in BW Packaging Systems, which brings together the collective packaging capabilities of Accraply, BW Flexible Systems, BW Integrated Systems, Pneumatic Scale Angelus and Synerlink.
