The Horchata is a refreshing summer drink made with ground almonds, rice and hints of cinnamon with a sweet, creamy mouthfeel. As a starter Sanchez has in store for us a Mexcian classic, Chilli Relleno prepared with mild, fried chilli pepper along with a delightful filling of ancho and queso fresco, topped with chipotle cheese sauce and accompanied by fresh tomato salsa. The main course is a favorite for all the Mexican food lovers – The Poblano Mole or Mole Enchiladas made with corn tortillas generously filled with Morita spiced pulled chicken, dripped in poblano chocolate mole with a drizzle of sour cream and sesame seeds. The vegetarian option Mole Verde is a must-have where corn tortilla is stuffed with guajillo and arbol tossed vegetables covered in a vibrant green sauce topped with sour cream and sesame seeds. Both the dishes are served alongside flavorsome Mexican rice and refried beans. Nicknamed homemade cinnamon rolls, Sopapillas is a complete treat for dessert lovers to enjoy a pastry with honey, dark chocolate, freshly sliced mango cubes, and vanilla ice cream dusted with cinnamon sugar.
A chance to discover Mexico is right here in India. If there’s a way to experience Mexican food without actually being there, then there is no time like Cinco De Mayo at Sanchez.
