‘Coffee Day 2022’ competition

On October 1st, the whole of Germany will be celebrating “Coffee Day”. Restaurateurs along with others are cordially invited to take part in the day of honor with special activities relating to the aromatic bean. There is a creative recipe idea by the German Coffee Association for this year’s drink for “Coffee Day”.

Attention coffee fans: The drink is still looking for a name as part of a competition

The ingredients for the drink: fruity and refreshing. Cold brew with passion fruit juice, a dash of vanilla syrup and a squeeze of lemon – all served over ice. A delicious twist, not only for coffee fans. The preparation succeeds in a few simple steps:

•             Pour 100 milliliters of cold brew into a glass with ice cubes and top up with 100 milliliters of chilled passion fruit juice.

•             Add a dash of vanilla syrup (10 milliliters) and a squeeze of lemon.

•             Garnish the finished drink with a mint leaf and it’s ready to be served and enjoyed.

Whether as an energy kick in the morning or as a sundowner in the evening – the drink for “Coffee Day” 2022 guarantees exotic refreshments at any time of the day.

Drink is looking for a name: be creative and travel

“Find a name, offer a trip” competition – the drink for “Coffee Day” still needs a name. Creativity is rewarded: The first prize includes two overnight stays in Berlin or Munich – including a barista workshop and travel to and from the event by Deutsche Bahn.
