Brand optimizes recipe for new target group

The award-winning Walter Rau Lebensmittelwerke GmbH, which is best known for its high-quality food made from carefully selected raw materials, has always enjoyed the trust of consumers for the last 110 years. Deli Reform is one of its noted brands, and is a pioneer in the plant-based food market. Its plant-based margarines and spreads are some of the best in the market for more than 60 years.

Whether on baguette, bread or rolls, Deli Reform Sommerfrische combines summery lightness with a naturally fresh taste. From this autumn, vegans can also enjoy the delicious spread, because Deli Reform is adapting the recipe and making it 100% plant-based at the same time. The packaging is also being updated and will be available in an emotional and contemporary design from mid-September, which will lead to more spontaneous purchases at the POS. The relaunch will be accompanied by new creative recipes from Deli Reform, which will be available from October. The trend toward vegan nutrition has increased steadily in recent years and purely plant-based products are more popular than ever. Deli Reform Sommerfrische can be used in many ways, either as a spread or for cooking.

Deli Reform Sommerfrische is the extra light alternative to butter and classic margarine. With only 28% fat, it supports a low-fat and conscious diet. It is made from purely vegetable fats and oils and contains natural omega-3 fatty acids from high-quality rapeseed oil. From now on, the popular spread gets its summery fresh taste thanks to natural aromas. All three items in the Deli Reform core range (The Original, The Light, The Summer Fresh) are now suitable for a vegan diet.

Optimized packaging design

The new packaging design from Deli Reform Sommerfrische is contemporary, emotional, and an eye-catcher on the shelf. The packaging also comes in a sustainable Eco-Pack with 40% recycled packaging material. Just like other Deli Reform products, Sommerfrische is still available with 500g content.
