Ecolean wins the Dairy Tech Innovation Awards 2022

As part of the annual international exhibition DairyTech2022, which was held from January 25 to 27 in Moscow, Ecolean took part in the innovation competition. We are proud to announce that Ecolean won the Packaging Equipment category with a new high-performance filling line for cold chain products – EL1+.

“It is important to evaluate the packaging solution correctly – to analyze it in the 360० format. When designing our filling equipment, we wanted it to be as efficient as possible: cost effective, easy to operate and have a minimal carbon footprint. I think this approach helped us win the competition,” says Tatiana Lund, Marketing and Sales Manager, Ecolean Russia and CIS. “In terms of cost efficiency, the EL1+ takes up just over 8 square meters of space, while its energy consumption is comparable to that of an electric kettle. There is no water consumption during bottling and no loss of product at all. Furthermore, Ecolean’s packages are recycled in several regions in Russia, and products made from Ecolean Recycled material were presented to the jury,” explains Tatiana Lund.

The EL1+ automatic adaptable filling line is equipped with four filling stations for filling liquid food products in Ecolean® Air packages from 500 ml to 1500 ml. The productivity of the machine has been increased by 140% compared to the previous EL1 model, while maintaining the dimensions and high resource efficiency. The jury of the DairyTech 2022 innovation competition included representatives of AO Moloko, Danone, FGANU VNIMI, MGUPP.
