Handtmann presents the latest technologies at the Anuga FoodTec

Handtmann presents the latest technologies for the production of a diversified range of food products at the Anuga FoodTec, Hall 6, Stand B010/C019 under the motto WE TURN IDEAS INTO SOLUTIONS. The Handtmann Inotec BC140iT-300 automatic processing unit and the VarioMix mixer will be showcased in the area of product preparation. These universal processing units can be used for the simultaneous heating, cooling, mixing, grinding and emulsifying of firm, pasty and fluid products, and as all-rounders can be perfectly deployed as stand-alone machines but also integrated in modern, complex production processes.

To interested prospects with a focus on the enduring trends of snacking and convenience, the Biberach-based company will present a host of formed products solutions for meat and meat substitute, dairy, baked goods and confectionery, vegan/vegetarian, pet food and many more applications at its trade fair stand. Presented will also be the MSE 441 and MFE 431 manual forming units for the automated, artisan production of a variety of formed products, which can be easily mounted on a Handtmann vacuum filler with only a few steps. The newly developed VF 810 vacuum filler with FS 521 forming system will be showcased for medium and industrial output capacities, as will be an overall system comprising a VF 838 S with integrated GD 451 inline grinding system and the 6- to 24-lane FS 510 forming system. An absolute trade fair highlight will be the new Handtmann overall solution presented for the first time at the Anuga FoodTec, which offers all process steps from filling and portioning to depositing into the packaging from a single source. Vacuum filler, inline grinding system, FS 525 forming system, retraction belt, tray denester and feed belt together with the digital WS 910 weighing system in the new advanced version form a complete and fully automatic production process with maximum flexibility for a wide range of products and tray formats.

The filling and portioning specialist from Biberach will also present visitors manifold solutions in the segment of dosing. The new DV 85-1 dosing valve is perfectly suited for the accurate-to-the-gram dosing of dips and sauces, soups, meat salad, desserts, toppings, batters, short pastry, spreads and pasty pet food products, as an option directly into different containers, such as tubs, trays, thermo-forming packaging and jars or as a topping. The DV 85-3 model also ensures a great product variety with products and product consistencies ranging from very fluid to pasty, inhomogeneous, chunky and fibrous, with large inserts or high liquid content. Hot filling up to 90 °C is possible. Different dosing piston versions further extend the product range. Another showcase will be the DS 552 dosing system for the direct, multi-lane dosing of various products into thermo-forming packaging and trays, onto conveyor belts or dough sheet system. The automatic dosing process runs flexibly on 2 to 24 lanes on an industrial high-performance level. The innovative dosing principle with return suction without filling pistons and valves can dose fluid to semi-viscous filling products precise to the gram and with great process reliability.

In addition to numerous Industry 4.0 solution in support of the process, another trade fair focus will be on the new Handtmann Customized Solutions, which now enable the company to offer customised solutions for individual customer requirements – from product preparation to the filling, portioning, dosing or forming process and the packaging solution.
