HOFEX 2021 rescheduled from May to Sept 2021

Due to the continued travel restrictions brought upon by COVID-19, HOFEX – Asia’s
Leading Food & Hospitality Tradeshow, originally scheduled on 12 – 14 May 2021, will be
rescheduled to 7 – 9 September 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition
Centre (HKCEC). ProWine Hong Kong – the international trade fair for wines and spirits will
continue to be held as part of HOFEX on the new date.

With entry restrictions and quarantine measures still in place, many overseas F&B
professionals are unable to attend the event as scheduled, which greatly disrupts their global
sourcing activity. Rescheduling the show to September allows more time for the industry
to recover and ensure a more dynamic and cosmopolitan event.

HOFEX aims to keep the industry connected by introducing the first digital event HOFEX
Connect. HOFEX Connect offers one-stop online business matchmaking services, lining up
global suppliers with buyers to create high-value, engaging, and cost-effective business
opportunities. The first round of business matchmaking will take place in March.

HOFEX is a highly recognized professional trade platform that has introduced numerous
food & drinks, hospitality equipment and supplies to Asia since its inception. Entering the 19th
edition, HOFEX will continue to strive for excellence, serving up new products, trends and
innovations to reconnect businesses and restart the challenging market. More information
about HOFEX can be found on https://hofex.com.

In addition, the upcoming HOFEX will be co-located with Natural & Organic Asia and Retail
Asia Conference & Expo, bringing a wide array of healthy food & beverage and hospitality
technologies to the table. Adding these shows under HOFEX’s roof will strongly expand each
sector in depth, fulfilling the needs of the ever-changing F&B and hospitality industry.

HOFEX will strictly follow the advice and guidelines from local authorities on precautionary
measures to minimize the risk of infection in the community, and to protect the health and
safety of exhibitors, visitors and employees.
