Fresh Food Logistics, the new international commercial meeting point for the sector of storage solutions, logistics, mobility, IT, and cold chain management for perishable foods, was created with a vocation to serve the entire international industry, through this unique event in the European Union, which is professional and hyper-specialized. Under one roof, it will bring together all the players from the cold food chain; from storage at source, logistics, and transportation to cold solutions for retail, last mile, and e-commerce.

The result will be a meeting point for companies specialising in climate control and facilities for food conservation and storage; freezer, isothermal and refrigerated containers; processing, handling and packaging systems; refrigerated logistics services and operators; temperature control systems for temperature directed transport; refrigerated transport and its cooling and freezing equipment; technologies and automation for the food cold chain; equipment and systems for quality control; refrigeration facilities, refrigeration equipment and temperature control for retail; transport solutions for fresh food-delivery and food e-commerce.

Fresh Food Logistics is an event which is aimed at end users of all these solutions along the whole value chain: producers and cooperatives in the fresh food sector (fruit and vegetables, fish, meat, dairy products, etc.); food industry: logistics, quality, purchasing, production, packaging, etc.; on-farm food storage and refrigerated transport professionals; wholesalers, fresh food traders, import/export fresh food traders; retail, specialist shops, supermarkets, convenience stores, hotels/restaurants/cafés, food service supply chains; fresh e-commerce, and in-flight meals/railway catering.

Within the framework of Fresh Food Logistics, the Fresh Food Logistic Summit will be held on 6 and 7 October. This is a conference organised by Alimarket to discuss the cold market, taking a cross-cutting and 360° view. An opportunity to discover how the main players in the sector face the challenges posed by refrigeration and logistics, in addition to networking, sharing experiences and looking for points on which to collaborate.

Fresh Food Logistics will benefit from synergies with Fruit Attraction, although it will have its own identity and exhibition area, and will be one of the top attractions at its next edition. Fruit Attraction’s usual visitor profile, head buyers from the world’s supermarket chains, particularly from Europe, will also be able to visit the event to see refrigerated transport and logistics solutions for the fresh produce supply chain.
