Improving climate footprint in egg production

By using certified European soy, German farmers can significantly improve their climate footprint in egg production. This is the result of a new study by the renowned Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FIbL). Susanne Fromwald from the Donau Soja Association will present the results of the study on February 12 at Eurotier 2021. In addition, it will show the opportunities that soy from European production offers for Germany and other countries in Europe.

The poultry farm Aigner (“Thanninger Freiheit”) in Hebertsfelden / Bavaria has been feeding its laying hens with Danube Soya-certified feed for years. This makes him a pioneer for climate-friendly agriculture. In the online press briefing, farmer Gerhard Aigner will report on his experiences with the cultivation, feeding and marketing of Donau Soja.

We invite all media representatives to the online press briefing as part of Eurotier 2021.
