Lynette Jackson appointed as new head of communications at Siemens

Lynette Jackson (49) has been appointed as the new head of global communications at Siemens. She will report to Roland Busch, President and CEO of Siemens AG, effective October 1. Jackson takes over from Judith Wiese, member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG responsible for HR, Sustainability and Global Business Services, who has been acting as interim head of communications since April.

We are very pleased to announce Lynette Jackson as our new head of global communications. With her broad international experience both in corporate and business communications, we found the right leader at the right time. With her collaborative leadership style and strong track record in transformation, she and her team will bolster the positioning of Siemens as a leading technology company and brand”, said Roland Busch, President and CEO of Siemens AG.

“I relish the opportunity to lead the communications function of such a great company. Our technology makes a positive impact on how people live, work and move; being part of telling this story and ensuring that a strong communications strategy supports business growth and cultural transformation will be a privilege,” said Lynette Jackson.

Lynette Jackson is currently head of global communications for Siemens Smart Infrastructure, having joined the company in November 2018. Before then, she was head of corporate communications at Delphi Technologies, having previously led the global communications of ABB’s electrification products business. She has extensive international experience for industrial and technology companies in the U.S and Europe. Lynette Jackson hails from Surrey, England and holds a degree in French from the University of Birmingham. A successor to her role at Smart Infrastructure will be announced in due time.
