THAIFEX – Anuga Asia brings greater opportunities through Hybrid+

Asia’s key F&B trade exhibition continues to serve regional markets through multiple platforms with programme offerings from May to September 2021

THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2021 will take on a new extended format – Hybrid+, where its programmes will start from May and extend all the way to late September when the physical event will take place. The dates of the physical event will be from 29 September to 03 October, 2021.

With Hybrid+, participants can kick start their THAIFEX – Anuga Asia journey from May 25 – 29 with THAIFEX Virtual Trade Show (VTS) – a 365-day initiative by the Department of International Trade Promotion. VTS welcomed 1,080 online registrants from 77 countries in their first edition in 2020, of which 752 buyers were successfully matched with their target exhibitors. Other digital initiatives, including online matchmaking and webinars, will continue to engage local and international participants from May through September when the physical event takes place with additional elements such as live streaming.

The global rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine positively signals the start of the road to recovery and the ease into the new normal, as well as increase the confidence in regional travel. As of today, the current sign up for the show is strong. More than 70% of past exhibitors have committed to the show, reflecting the wish of the industry to have the event this year.

“We believe that this enhanced hybrid event format will benefit our exhibitors and visitors. Our continuing focus on innovation and delivering the best values to the industry, is our formula to stay engaged and always be ready to face new challenges,” said the organisers of THAIFEX – Anuga Asia.
