The World Fresh Forum to analyze the table grape market in Vietnam

Organized by ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, IFEMA MADRID, and FEPEX, the Forum hosts a total of four sessions — Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates — between 12 and 15 September 2022, through the LIVEConnect platform.

The World Fresh Forum will be held with a presentation that will analyze the keys and opportunities for targeting the table grape market in Vietnam, one of the guest countries in this edition of Fruit
Attraction.
The Vietnamese fruit and vegetable market is gradually opening up to Spanish fruit and
vegetables. In 2019, the protocol for table grapes for Vietnam came into effect, making
it the first fruit that can be exported to this country. Moreover, Vietnamese importers
consider that table grape from Spain could be a new source of supply for June to
October period, when Spanish table grape production is in a full season.
This begins a new chapter of the significant potential for fruit and vegetable exports. A
thorough understanding of the functioning of the industry and the specific demands of
fruit and vegetable importers are essential. All of this will be analyzed by the government
officials from MAPA and MINCOTUR, the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in
Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnamese importers and distributors who will participate in the
session.
