20-23 June 2021: New dates for VINITALY, ENOLITECH, and SOL & AGRIFOOD

The 54th edition of the Veronafiere International Wine and Spirits Exhibition, Vinitaly will take place from 20th to 23rd June 2021 alongside Enolitech and Sol & Agrifood.  OperaWine, 10th Year Anniversary with Wine Spectator, will be held on 19 June. The decision was taken after careful assessment that also involved authoritative institutions in a position to formulate reliable forecasts for the pandemic curve and a specific market survey.

President of Veronafiere S.p.A., Maurizio Danese said, “The move to June is in line with the review of the positioning of the calendars for the main international trade fairs in Italy and abroad. Veronafiere’s Board of Directors and shareholders arrived at an informed decision based on the most reliable information available in the medical field, while also considering buyers arriving from outside Europe. We are also working with the Fondazione Arena, the organizers of the opera season, and Verona City Council to offer our international guests a not to be missed edition.”

Meanwhile, CEO of Veronafiere S.p.A., Giovanni Mantovani said “Vinitaly with OperaWine and its sister shows will now be scheduled in a context where the government will have had plenty of time to prepare procedures for international buyers entering Italy. Other events aimed at promoting the wine sector will also take place in Europe in the same period. Consequently, this is a strategic and synergic decision that will allow operators in market and information areas, especially from Asia and the USA – among the main visitors to our exhibitions – to be able to optimize their attendance schedules within a single trip.”
