Blendhub to virtually present its network of multi-located portable factories at Food 4 Future

Blendhub is all set to participate in the first edition of Food 4 Future from June 15 to 17 in Bilbao (Spain), the largest European event on innovation, technology, and sustainability for the global food industry.

Blendhub is an official partner of the event and participates as an exhibitor with a 40m2 stand where it will offer visitors who wish to attend a virtual reality tour to learn about its network of multi-location production centers, with a replication model based on factories portable (Portable Powder Blending – PPB) that are transported in a 40-foot container and are operational anywhere in the world in less than six months.

This multi-located production model, called infrastructure as a service, is open to any agri-food company, especially small and medium-sized companies and startups that seek to access other markets since it allows them to produce anywhere in the world without the need to invest in their own infrastructure. It also focuses on large food or ingredient companies that are committed to localized production as a guarantee of competitiveness.

In addition, the decentralization of production favors the optimization of supply chains: by manufacturing closer to raw materials and the final consumer, the cost of the final product falls between 20% and 50%; transport is reduced and logistics are optimized, which means less environmental impact.

Blendhub is moving towards a collaborative platform, open to stakeholders in the agri-food value chain who share values and focused on the creation of shared value. This platform is not only based on the optimization of the supply chain (infrastructure as a service), but also on the digitization of food quality and a unique strategy of food as a service (food as a service) to help food companies from the idea to the launch of new products faster, more efficiently and anywhere in the world.

Blendhub Founder and CEO Henrik Stamm Kristensen will deliver a presentation at Food 4 Future to introduce this business model and explain how digitized platforms can create value in the food industry and for the end consumer.

For their part, the director of infrastructure-as-a-service, Pablo Ruiz Hernández, and the director of food-as-a-service, Juanjo Valderrama, will participate in presentations on innovative and sustainable processes for agri-food value chain.
