Making South Indian filter coffee sexy

Artisanal coffee brand, Maverick & Farmer celebrates all things coffee with a host of hands-on, sensorial experiences at their cafes in Ulsoor and Koramangala, Bangalore,, from 30th September to 2nd October. Blending artistry with innovation, the event will see exclusive coffee mixology sessions, a ‘Making South Indian Filter Coffee Sexy’, home brewing and kombucha brewing workshops, a home barista championship, and live acoustic performances.

Staying true to its name, Maverick & Farmer, the brand’s approach to coffee is all about pushing boundaries. Conceptualized from scratch, the brand hosted the first-ever coffee mixology in India last year, and this year’s mixology session promises to be even more exciting with some truly maverick iterations of the beverage. At the event, coffee aficionados will get to design their own signature, creative interpretation of coffee by mixing and matching their choice of flavors and ingredients that they love.

Creating an experiential offering for the community of coffee enthusiasts, the three days will be sprinkled with workshops, championships and performances. ‘Making South Indian Filter Coffee Sexy’ workshop promises to be a bold take on traditional filter coffee, while the Barista Championship nudges the skills of home baristas to the foreground. Then there are home brewing and kombucha brewing workshops and a live acoustic performance rounding up the celebrations.

Maverick & Farmer will also feature a limited-edition menu of handcrafted beverages specially created for and available throughout the duration of the event.
