Ajman Free Zone to launch ‘Made in AFZ’ exhibition for business partners

Three-day display of local products and services, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities

Ajman Free Zone gears up to launch the ‘Made in AFZ’ exhibition, a new initiative that is part of its commitment to support its business partners. The three-day business exhibition, which is set to take place on November 28 to 30 at its headquarters, aims to provide a free venue for AFZ’s business partners to promote, display and introduce their products and services, engage in panel discussions, and network with potential industry partners.

The event will kick off with a ceremony to be led by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Ajman Free Zone Authority, followed by a wide array of activities that include the launching of new products. The exhibition will also serve as a platform for signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AFZ’s business partners and other business entities.

In addition to the activities, there will be interactive talks and discussions in the first day of the exhibition, covering topics such as the history of Ethiopian coffee, success factors in running a business in the F&B sectors, and the real estate market during the COVID-19 pandemic, among others.

H.E. Eng. Ali AlSuwaidi, Director General of Ajman Free Zone said: “Made in AFZ is one of the initiatives of Ajman Free Zone aimed at boosting the growth of our business partners through promoting, marketing, and networking in a platform. This is part of our sustained commitment to support them as they move towards fulfilling their expansion plans. Made in AFZ is the perfect chance for AFZ-based companies to showcase their products and services and further positions AFZ as an attractive business community for potential business investors.”

“We also take this moment to thank the continued trust and confidence of the business community as manifested by the increasing number of registered companies. This would not be possible without our partners and their keenness to participate in events like this. Lastly, I would like to extend my appreciation to the members of our teams who relentlessly work and support the leadership and vision of Ajman Free Zone,” he added.

Ajman Free Zone seeks to contribute to positioning the emirate of Ajman and the UAE as a strong business and economic hub.
