Caramelized findings from Nigay SAS

Nigay SAS, the expert in caramels, has been carrying out researches for better knowledge of caramel for many years. They worked in several laboratories to show the antioxidant properties and capacities of caramels. Caramel, produced by controlled heating of sugars with or without the presence of caramelization promoters, provides a wide range of ingredients. A family-run business, Nigay is specialized in the production of caramels used in many forms (liquid, paste, powder, pieces) by artisans and food industries.

Producing aromatic caramels, caramel colors, burnt sugars, and caramel specialties, Nigay is unique in its dedication to the art and science of caramelization which has earned its name “the expert in caramels” around the world.

With a turnover of nearly 78 million euros (67% in exports), the company ships its products to five continents. Focused on human values and driven by their profession, Henri and Yves Nigay lead a team of more than 250 people.
