VDMA: Web-talk series on confectionery technology

Starting on May 11, the VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association is launching a web talk series together with its member companies on innovative production and packaging ideas for chocolate products, sugar confectionery, snacks, wafers and cookies.

There is hardly any segment in the food industry launching more product innovations on the market every year than the confectionery industry. Technology plays a central role in the implementation of these new ideas.

In each web talk, three experts will focus live on a key topic. “It’s time to talk about innovations and ideas for the future. With this format, we want to focus on industry-specific subjects and provide bundled information to customers from the confectionery and bakery industries,” says Beatrix Fraese, responsible for the Confectionery and Bakery Machinery Division at VDMA.

The first web talk on “Innovative Solutions for Chocolate Products” will take place on May 11 from 14:00 to 16:00 (CEST). A total of six web talks are planned so far. Further information on key topics, dates, participating companies and registration opportunities are available at this link.

The VDMA represents around 3300 German and European mechanical and plant engineering companies. The industry stands for innovation, export orientation, small and medium-sized enterprises and employs around four million people in Europe, more than one million of them in Germany alone.
