Space booking for InterSICOP 2022 crosses 85%

Exhibitors have already booked more than 85% of the Fair’s space for InterSICOP 2022. These figures highlight the sector’s confidence in InterSICOP, the great face-to-face meeting for bakery and pastry, confectionery, ice cream, and coffee professionals.

InterSICOP’s Organising Committee met this week and confirmed the excellent forecasts for the next edition from 19th to 22nd February 2022. With three months still to go, exhibitors have already booked more than 85% of the Fair’s space. These figures highlight the sector’s confidence in InterSICOP, the great face-to-face meeting for bakery and pastry, confectionery, ice cream and coffee professionals.

During the meeting, the organisers also confirmed they have extended the deadline for the early bird discount for applications received before 30th November. Companies interested in participating can find all the information they need to apply and benefit from all the business opportunities at InterSICOP on the Fair’s website.

Special Equipment, Machinery and Technology Edition
Under the TecSICOP brand, InterSICOP 2022 will promote the equipment, machinery and technology for the different sectors covered by the Fair. Its goal is to encourage and speed up sales processes and equipment renewal and offer the channel improved efficiency and competitiveness in its production processes.

This event is designed to satisfy the needs of the entire value chain of the bread, pastry and bakery, ice cream and Horchatería, and Coffee sector. Participants will include coffee roasters, operators, equipment and machinery manufacturers, Office Coffee Service (OCS) and suppliers of the disposables and capsules that have become an essential feature of the Bakery-Coffee sector in recent years.

International Positioning
The benchmark fair in the Ibero-American area will enable businesses to strengthen their specific exports promotion actions and ensure optimum international positioning. Mexico will be InterSICOP 2022’s partner country, so a large delegation of Mexican attendees at the Fair will promote and strengthen commercial export activities.

Under the slogan “Hands Bringing Us Together Through Innovation,” the Fair aims to boost the experience, trade, quality, excellence, differentiating initiatives, and diversity. These values are shared by all the sectors represented and help highlight the innovation taking place in these industries and position Spain as one of the world’s most attractive markets.

As well as making and strengthening business opportunities, InterSICOP participants will also be able to take part in a broad programme of activities, demonstrations, championships and technical talks. These include Best Master Artisan Pastry Chef (MMAPE) 2022, the Third Pastry Schools Competition, the Fourth National Artisan Bakery Championship, the Fifth Spanish Artisan Ice Cream Championship, the Grand Masters of Bakery, Patisserie & Ice Cream Seminar, the InterSICOP Technical Seminar Forum and the Forum of Women Bakers.

InterSICOP LIVEConnect is the world’s first online professional community and social network specialising in the bakery, patisserie, and ice cream sectors in parallel with the face-to-face event. It has all the networking functionalities, a directory of participating companies, products and services and exhibitors’ marketing staff, talks and congresses, all the latest news and presentations, and more: The meeting point for professionals in the sector all year round.

The platform will also host the Innovation Hub, a space to showcase all the new products and innovations from the companies participating in InterSICOP and TecSICOP. It will show all stakeholders in the bakery, confectionery, and ice cream industry that innovation is one of the foundations of a modern industry adapting to new consumer profiles and trends.
